Alfred de La Chapelle

Winegrower
Great Burgundy wines - Château d'Uxelles wines -

Since 1984, Alfred de La Chapelle has been cultivating the family cereal farm. In 1990, with his wife Valérie, they planted the first vines on the hillside plots.

The vineyard is located in the north of the Mâconnais region and on the southern edge of the Côte Chalonnaise. The estate is primarily dedicated to the Mâcon Villages region, enhanced by the Chardonnay grape variety, and to red Burgundy, enhanced by the Pinot Noir grape variety.

Currently, 7 vintages are vinified and aged in stainless steel vats and oak barrels in the Château d'Uxelles cellar.

Tastings and sales of CHATEAU d'UXELLES wines are by appointment only. Alfred and Valérie de La Chapelle will be pleased to welcome you.

The white wines are composed of 12% Aligoté and 88% Chardonnay.

Our prestige cuvée, Bourgogne Vigne au Roi, aged in demi-muid, is distinguished by its discreet oakiness, its brilliant color and its delicate nose.

Our two vintages "Blanc Doré" and "Rosé Or" characterized by the finesse of their bubbles leave gourmet and delicately fruity aromas .
